No Bake Cheerio Bars
This is a easy no bake bar recipe made with honey and almonds. I used honey loops to make this bar, you can use any toasted oats cereal or cheerios. This is great to make for your kids, great to have for breakfast with a cup of milk.

Ingredients for No Bake Cheerio Bars
- Cheerios or Honey Loops - 3 cups
- Roasted Almonds - ½ cup chopped
- Unsalted Butter - 4 tbsp
- Brown Sugar -¼ cup
- Honey - ¼ cup
- Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1 tsp
How to make No Bake Cheerio Bars
- Take cheerios and almonds in a bowl and mix well.
- In a sauce pan, take butter, brown sugar, honey, salt, vanilla and mix well. Put it on heat and bring to a boil, boil it for 1 min. Take it off the heat.
- Now add the cheerio mix in this and mix well.
- Pour this in a parchment lined pan and smooth the top.
- Now put this in fridge and let it set for 30 mins to 1 hour.
- Slice and serve.

I hv a doubt.I HV heard that honey when heated becomes toxic.if its true then can't we substitute honey with something else?

You have to add it along with the brown sugar.
