Crunchwrap Super-Supreme: SparkRecipes Un-Chained Recipe Contest Finalist

This recipe was a finalist in the SparkPeople Un-Chained Recipe Contest!

I chose to re-make the Crunchwrap Supreme from Taco Bell because Taco Bell used to be one of my favorite fast food restaurants. Also, it is still my boyfriend's favorite fast food chain and nearly every time he goes there, he will order a crunchwrap supreme.

The funny thing is that most Mexican and Tex-Mex dishes are fairly simple to make... so I knew that it would be fun, delicious, and not too challenging to re-make this item!Submitted by: THENEXTJESS

This was AMAZING! I don't have a grill pan so I made it in the frying pan and it took about 4 minutes on each side. I didn't use olive oil for the onion rings instead I soaked them in the marinade and squirted some lime juice on them in the pan. I will be making this again and again!!! - 3/11/10

I absolutely LOVE this recipe! I top it with fat free cheese, sour cream and salsa on corn tortillas and I've got a very satisfying low-fat meal. My husband and kids love it, too! - 9/13/08

This was very good! I'll make this again and again. Even my picky kids were going back for thirds!. I wrapped everything (salsa, avocado, onion) in a fat free tortilla and it was awesome. Healthy Mexican! Hooray! - 2/6/09

This was very limey (obviously!) but it wasn't in a bad way. I've just been eating a lot of citrus lately due to my eating plan. I don't have a grill so I broiled it and it had nice flavors overall, especially when paired with a medium-heat salsa. - 9/4/14
