I am ALL about quick ideas, especially when it comes to decorating ideas! This 10 minute Valentines Table Decoris something anyone can do and it looks festive and pretty! Like my 5 minute DIY Christmas Luminaries which have been featured online in many publications like Country Living, it just goes to show that pretty doesn’t have to be complicated!

10 Minute Valentines Table Decor

I don’t decorate for Valentine’s Day really. My son’s birthday is nearthat date and usually, when you’re having a birthday party for a boy, the last thing they want around is a bunch of Valentine’s decorations.

Table Decor for Valentine’s Day

Sometimes, though I like just a hint of holiday, and that usually means creating a quick valentine’s tablescape using items I already have, or simple items I can throw together. Decorating your table is all you need to do for many holidays. That’s why this 10 minute valentines table decor was perfect! Last year, I made a quick Valentine’s Day Printable Bunting banner. You can still download it if you’d like it.

Valentine’s Day always brings a huge collection of beautiful candies, so why not decorate with them? I chose conversation hearts for their traditional look and because I don’t like eating them! At first, I thought I’d fill a clear vase with them, but decided to fill my beautiful scalloped platter full of them with one of my milk glass vases full of simple daisies. Boom!

Supplies for Valentine’s Table Decor

I kept it very budget-friendly and used easy-to-find items for a quick way to decorate for Valentine’s Day.

• Conversation Hearts Candy
• Heart Shaped Paper Doilies found at The Dollar Store. You can use regular round ones too.
• Tape or glue dots
• Vase
• Daisies

How to Make a Heart Shaped Paper Dollie Table Runner

Quick, easy, and budget-friendly holiday decor for Valentine's Day. Make this Valentine's Day table runner and centerpiece in 10 min!

Materials

• Heart Shaped Paper Doilies - I found mine at The Dollar Store. I used a variety of colors and sizes. Regular round doilies will also work.
• Tape, tape runner or glue dots - You'll need some sort of adhesive

Instructions

1. Gather all your supplies and sort your heart-shaped doilies.
2. I started with the large hearts and just layered them in a line, filling the middle of each heart with one of the red or pink hearts.
3. Stick them all together with whatever adhesive you're using. I used glue dots and a tape runner.
4. Avoid getting them wet because the colors will bleed and stain.

DIY Valentine’s Decorations

It doesn’t have to be fussy and elaborate to be stylish and festive! DIY Valentine’s decorations can be quick and simple using simple items.

I love that I can create a quick Valentine’s Day centerpiece with really simple supplies.
